Merly Åsbogård was born in Colombia and raised in Sweden. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, holds lectures and workshops both in Sweden and abroad about men’s violence against women in prostitution and is a debut writer at Forum förlag publishing her autobiography in spring 2023. Merly spent 16 years in prostitution and 8 years in substance abuse. Today she is an activist for the Nordic Model and a single parent of two girls. Merly is a board member of Child10 foundation and Förtalskassan.
