Esbern Erling Hjelm Kjærbo was born in 1985 in the Faroe Islands, but has also lived in Greenland and Denmark and for the past 4 years he has lived in Iceland where he works as the head librarian at The Nordic House. He has worked in the field of librarianship for over a decade and holds a masters degree in Information science and cultural communication from Copenhagen University. Apart from being intensely interested in the future of librarianship Erling is also interested in traveling, gamification and equality, and he tries to incorporate that in both his professional and personal life.
